Unicorn and Strawberry Rendez Vous

wow, what a unicorn! Me and Anni found it today at the "brocki" -salvation army. it is very happy now to wear strawberries. and it will be one of the center pieces at the "Rendez Vous" Trade Show which I will be at in Paris from October 5th to October 8th. More details will follow. My first Trade Show!

Goldigger!

I saw this cat wiped out on a "gold rush "in Paris. That reminded me of when that happened to me last Thankgiving. This incredible Swiss jewlery smith named Lucy (i have to find out her last name) intoxicated everyone at the table with the gold she kept on pulling out of little tin boxes. there were amazing spidernets knitted from gold and snakes. in this state i lost my only real gold chain..

Our Parisian Office

So while I was in Paris I set up my little Toujours Toi office at Hotel Ariane, which provided me with much inspiration and I loved making jewelry while watching people down on the street, listening to the Rolling Stones "Beggar's Banquet" and Velvet Underground.


After Carmela came to Paris it was just perfect. we both tried to catch some wireless with our spaceship laptops in the early parisian sunlight.
Carmela is not only my dear friend but also my rep and assistant and a great inspiration. I am so lucky to know her.

Some Inspirations..Paris

That is the kind of stuff I am inspired by..lamps, lights, atmospheres, colors,
in room 22 chez "Hotel Ariane" where I was staying at in Paris

"Chez Jeanette" this was at 9am. so loud and lively as if it were a weekend night. was very happy there with my tartine and cafe au lait watching people. this is where I saw the most adrable dog ever! a three months old Jack Russell

Big Ben Bar at Gare de Lyon. had a classy drink there with Dilara.

Surface to Air-Paris

I spent some days in Paris for meetings-both business and personal and mixed! so inspiring and lovely.
Carmela took this picture of me in the store Surface to Air where Toujours Toi is featured. it's a wonderful store and I am proud to be part of it. this is in this funny little back room.

the SALE at LUX

oh my god, I never thought so many people would come and show up! it was so great and maybe a bit chaotic...especially without Marion helping me. But tons of fun. Lux was a great location of course for it! people just came and hung out and bought stuff.
