on my latest fleamarket excursion with Play I scored a mustard colored velvet vest and a Spanish Playboy from 1979. My new Gilet with the Piano shirt and Sunday Morning skirt dancing to the Bee Gees! and an add for Swiss watches (the least x-rated page of the mag) from playboy: yep it's raining and it's grey but may I suggest for once to not listen to sad, sad music but go for the light and fun and do some disco dancing at home?
Tina in her very own room at the HDKZ diploma exhibition with Julie and Pascal Julie and Claudia; discussing art? Then we went on to Fabian's show opening. Hi Fabian! blue shirts, chinos and Fabians show it's called I really liked it! And so did these girls Pascal took a flash photo at the same time so it made this privacy bar. Lisa still looks great! Oops I forgot about this film-inspiration post. I made it a month ago when my mum was in town and we watched this classic gem. Barbara is a total charm bomb of course, the costumes are so dreamy in every scene... "don't be a fool you fool!" Why was Omar Sharif's har dyed so light? That was weird. Love Bab's hair-do here though! colors, textures, feathers, hats!! "start boiling the water" "stop boiling the water I just lost my appetite" this reminded me of how I travel; running to the train with lots of bags, but just sans the flowers oh the glitter headband! admiring her ring the hat game is defenitely ON in this movie. The red velvet is delicious! I'd rather be blue...
I love the satisfying feeling of finding the right boxes to store things. (my businesscards/greeting cards) I also love to find tiny flowers saying "hi there" on the terrasse!
I have been wearing the Midnight Voyage dress a lot last week, with or without tights and jackets. The weather has been so moody. But now it's sooo good!
My mums and sister came over for brunch this Sunday. It was one of these endless brunches in the sun which I love. Where the coffee doesn't make you nervous and you can eat without getting full. Later Alessa dropped by and we laughed our cares away. my sister wore a really cool Toujours Toi / Circe remix; the River Deep beaded necklace, the Fly Away necklace in gunmetal & the Mushroom and the new Snake Circe rings! I wore the fw09 Sweet Surrender blouse, and the ss10 Cassis short in pink linen!
I forgot to buy anything or take pictures today at the fleamarket because Eva and me had so much to catch up on! I loved the awkward ballerina painting Here is the original classic, french version of the schmaltzy one above
what a beautiful song. perfect for these cold "summer" days
Ok this is my last "I was on vacation!!" post. It's back to work for me in rainy, grey Switzerland (Come ON!) Carmela and me in the midst of some orange trees Alina with her Circe lion ring very Grey Gardens
The first night in Mallorca Samantha and me made plans to go for a bike ride in the morning. I asked Sam if she is really fit and she said "not really" Oh and then next day I find out she is a super douper fit trained cyclist! But it was so much fun! Biking on little roads with horses, dogs, sheep, goats saying hi and everything smelled so good! On our first bike ride we ended up at a deserted beach cafe/restaurant, really old school and friendly. Biggest surprise was that the coffee was perfection:
