paddington bear meets gondelier

I scored this hat and Moschino jacket which fits my Bojangles dress just right. Sometimes I take pictures of things I am thinking of buying and email it to Stella; that's what I am doing here.

That hat remembers me of Paddington Bear!

Tea For Tillerman in a forest dream

The Tea For Tillerman dress in Emerald seems to have been made for Rebecca from "The Clothes Horse"! It makes me so happy to see pictures like these; when a whole new story and dimension is added to a dress..Check out her lovely post here. Thank you Rebecca!

Tea For Tillerman is on sale btw..
I named this dress from our first collection (fw08!!) after Cat Steven's record "Tea For Tillerman". This song off that album is also a bit fairy dreamy:

"I built my house from barley rice
Green pepper walls and water ice
Tables of paper wood, windows of light
And everything emptying into White"

"You don't wear beige to a bank robbery!"

This is Woody Allen's first tripple threat movie (writing/directing/acting) and it's considered the first mockumentary. It's so much fun! It tells the story of Virgil Starkwell an unsuccessful gangster "He never made the top 10 most wanted list"

I loved the prim and proper yet romantic wardrobe of Louise, Virgil's wife. Cardigans take center stage with the straight, parted in the middle hair and nude lips. Wholesomely seductive. Fresh, pretty and melancholy.

Here Virgil is about to meet his future wife in an attempt to rob her. I like the white on white on white combo.

If you were Diane Keaton you'd say "what a neat hat!"

This is the best bank robbery scene of all times. At least in my book.

location scouting. I also met a couple of really nice ducks right there

Some test shots at Philipp's studio's roof. Golden light indeed.
Photobucket
Me and Philipp both bought decadent baked sweets which we both forgot to eat. Which is very, very strange.

Weleda and Here Comes The Rain Again

Weleda sent me a great beauty case by Freitag filled with their latest product line to test out. I
I have a soft spot for Weleda not only because I went to Waldorf school in my later, formative years, but also because it's the real deal in terms of being organic and without animal testing since 1921!
My favorite was the Pomegranat serum; nice and light!

Talking of Waldorf school; here's my favorite song by the Eurythmics who named themselves after Eurythmy this movement style that is taught at Waldorf schools. It's also the theme song of Swiss weather right now:

Friday Magazine; Art Basel

At the Art Basel preview I met Tina Weiss who took this picture of me and other "Divas, Dandies and Indie boys" for Friday magazine. I think I am probably an indie boy.
My hair is aspiring to "The Nanny" and this is what I am wearing; Calling Paris jacket, Love Child vest, and Bojangles dress

play it again sam

The Play It Again Sam necklace is the perfect necklace to do summer via fall or vice verca. It's been raining and raining and it's time for hats and wool jackets again, or still?

So this necklace was inspired by Diane Keaton in "Play It Again Sam"

Nicola on Saturday 1 & Saturday 2

One of the great things about working with your friends is; you actually get to see them! We are preparing our next Family Affairs shoot for this week.
Nicola (@stylecouncil) has been doing the Family Affairs make-up since the beginning and she is amazing!
This is Nicola today at our meeting wearing the Piano shirt, the Circe anchor necklace and the Miss You tote bag!

I got to stop by the wonderful Motto store last Saturday in Zurich (Langstr. 84). They have a great selection of zines and arty books. Also they have apartamento which I love. The shop design is by my friends: Kueng Caputo

Thanks a lot!

counting?

I actually don't wear the Dear Mr. Fantasy jumpsuit every day even if it appears that way. It's just super comfortable yet dressy and also; no zipper to be left open. Karolina took this photo last Saturday when it was still somewhat summer at Kunsthalle.
