Around a week ago lovely Lisa came over to my place and we did a super low key photo shoot! Lisa brought the camera and wore her own clothes, I did the hair and the jewels. I love the photos that came back from developing. To actually get photos developed was fun... Here Lisa is wearing the Cerillos earrings in gold

Two images from my "beautiful things" folder, a Playboy cover from 1959 and a glamourous creature; I don't remember the source! Almost looks like Tina Modotti in a musical extravaganza.The images have a nice coming of fall feeling to it. The time to get dressed up more elaborately again..

palme d'or!

here is some straight up awkward photoboothing because I wanted to show you the amazing silk top with the golden palm that my darling friend Nadja Grimm made a while ago for her label Parterre. I wore it out with the Honeypie shorts. I cracked myself up because I felt so weird taking self portraits!

After our shoot Lisa and me went to the Brooklyn Flea. I loved this guy's silver amulettes and necklace assortment!

Lisa came over yesterday and we had a shooting for Toujours Toi and Circe! I can't wait for all the photos!

Stella and me went out to visit dearest Garance in the Northfork last weekend. It was a short trip but just so wonderful. We even laid on the beach looking at the milky way and waiting for the shooting stars! No bikini times for us though; on Saturday we did a great tour of yardsales and my favorites strange, little thrift stores! I can't wait to go again!

We got on that train like a travelling circus with chair (me) huge lamp (Stella) and bursting bags! We found so many treasures. I stayed on budget with $20!

On our amazing trift and fun pre-birthday adventure to the Northfork, the first thing I found was this Heart record f0r $1! Nancy Wilson plays guitar like no one's business and her sister Ann sings her heart and lungs out!
