Rebecca from The Clothes Horse posted this beautiful post some weeks ago, Isn't it so perfect for Halloween? Rebecca is wearing the Siren Song dress in Cognac and the Ghostown necklace in gunmetal
I miss being in NY for Halloween..I was thinking of dressing up as Richie Tenenbaum but just hanging out as Richie in my studio working..? Might not be that thrilling.
I finally put up the Ghostown necklace for Halloween!

Had the best time at the Brocki today with Carmela! This is what happened:

Stella in Seafoam
The Moonlight shirt and Dream Day skirt in seafoam is also one of Stella's favorite "Moon River" outfits. Imagine we would go to dinner dressed as twins (I wish!) This photo is from a couple of weeks ago in Brooklyn.

Radio Days-Radio Song
I have a couple film inspiration posts backed up in the blog oven. Here is one of them; Radio Days b y Woody Allen (1987). I named the Radio Song necklace after this movie actually.
It's one of his straight up brilliant films, story wise and costume wise. Just watch it..it's a great autumn film and get inspired for your wardrobe here:
The cousin singing Carmen Miranda
The boys working some really good winter outfits!
textures, patterns, color
And enter Mia Farrow as a cigarette girl
coral, camel, burgundy...
This nightclub set; perfection
At home with the stylish mob
blush with emerald....sigh
I wanted to do a post devoted solely this pearl cape woven from angel dreams..

my friends and their tents
I have been wanting to blog about this double friend project; my friend Christian Wassmann designed and built the pop up tea salon for my friend Waris Ahluwalia. I am so sad I am missing this, it's only until the 25th of October! If you are in NY go by! It's below the highline.
It reminds me of a bedouin tent where you can refresh yourself with strong Moroccan tea after crossing the dessert. My grandpa always told me about the time he was in a bedouin tent and drank tea, so amazing.
These are Christian's photos from before it opened:
And yesterday my friend Jenny Little unveiled her amazing new project called "The Hunters and Rainbows"; silk-screened, handmade tipis! I just want to sleep and dream in all of her tipis, and I would like someone to read me story books until I fall asleep after eating a rasperry tart. That's all.
my friends are making me proud! xxx

1 coffee 2 buttery dough 3 good people 4 soundtrack
Claire was the most wonderful host when I was in London! She took me to a lovely cafe called "Browns Of Brockley" which is just around the corner from her house! It has a view of the trainstation, great coffee, nice people, good music, the cutest dog, wood tables, chocolate muffins AND wifi; in a nutshell all I need to be content!
A gold & silver shoe cap moment at Brown: Claire and a stranger.
If Ludd doesn't melt your heart, you might have to get it checked.

Erin from Cali Vintage wore her Siren Song dress in blush in such a pretty and summery way. Wish I was in sunny Californina too! Erin blogged about it here

red and gold
Eva took this photo of me 2 weeks ago in Paris when we were looking for a pharmacy open on Sunday night because I had an inflammed tooth. We didn't find a pharmacy but a kind Indian man in a Deli gave me a little bottle of whiskey so I could gargle with it...!

Frieze preview; colors
I was so happy to visit London! Next to some meetings and a super magical shoot we did, a lot of my friends were in town for the Frieze art fair; perfect timing! Can't wait to get that USB cable from my dad to download more photos...
