Alnea is the designer and owner of Farahbella she is from San Francisco but lives in Osaka. Meghan is a photographer www.meghanroberts.com (we did a photoshoot in the hotel room-pics to come soon) and came all the way from San Francisco to romantic Paris to help at Rendez Vous. We shared the same hotel, great Indian food, laughs, breakfasts and pastry it was a really fun time.

Rui and Sweet Dreams

Rui is a cool fashion student from London who was helping out a brilliant japanese designer (oh man i can't remember his name!) at the RENDEZ VOUS trade show and fell in love with the "Sweet Dreams" earrings!

DINGS

DINGS at Zollstrasse 12 in Zurich is one of my favorite stores, not only do they have a lovely selection of shoes and clothes (and Toujours Toi:)) but the ladies of the store (pictured are Sybil and Karin) are sweet and talented. they also create the fashion blog and magazine called hope hope www.hopehope.ch.

cry me a river-walking with heels

when i was standing at a crossroad last night-lost on our way to the restaurant-complaing about my hurting feet because I've walked for miles in them already-I looked up to see this Ugo Rondinone piece "cry me a river" so great! we did find the restaurant "au trou normande" and it was all worth it. i kept on dreaming of a footmassage with a peppermint lotion.heels, heels, heels!

cocktail party

this was a Rendez Vous cocktail party hosted by Standard magazine. right after the trade show with an empty stomach. total giddyness.
standard magazine was tied to the tables with a thread so if you (i mean me) tried to pick it up, the thread knocked over many glasses of champagne that were standing on the thread. cute.

I am really excited to be back here. we set up a beautiful booth. Eva was still working on the displays late last night in the hotel with sprayglue and all.
we are still waiting for more tables-dear mr. tabel guy will you bring some over?

buzzing at Chez Jeanette..

We had a two day search for internet..in parks, in cafes, everywhere. no internet for us. the weirdest thing was- we got a sliver of wireless at our good old Chez Jeanette. the owners changed now, so things are different, like we have to add the marmelade to our tartines by ourselves :(
