"Another Woman" (1988) is one of Woody Allen's most serious films, very Bergman inspired. The acting is unbelievable. Gena Rowland is just a master. The dressing is very "serious, academic winter dressing in ny" .. muted colors, layers, broches, tidy but feminine hair, turtlenecks, soft leather, many books..Don't you just want to sit in a leather bound arm chair in a library and read a Russian novel?

I love the scene when she meets her old friend and they go to a bar. Riveting.
