My inspiration behind the Dream Of Jeannie collection in the words of Claire of Lola Is Beauty (my text fairy)
The new "Dream Of Jeannie" jewelry collection is inspired by One Thousand and One Nights as seen through the eyes of twenties and thirties Hollywood: the nostalgic glamor of showgirls reclining on cut-out blue moons in their romantic middle eastern costumes and jewels.
Think of the 1924 silent film "The Thief of Bagdad", "An Arabian Nights Fantasy" – re-imagined as a disco version! It’s about fun, dreaming and romance. Hearts, moons and stars are enameled in midnight blue, lilac, baby blue and pink and are set with Swarovvski stones. Faux pearls twinkle on the edges like tiny bells, to make necklaces and earrings fit for Scheherazade.- Claire Oldman
