I have been selling Circe through the wonderful online jewelry retailer Boticca. Here is the interview I did for their blog when I visited their offices in London and had a chat with Kiyan and Chiara, I am very happy to be working with them.
Had the best brunch ever at my friends Gabe and Pilar's house with additional lovely people. Lot's of eating, laughing and coffee highs. What's better? Pilar is a really gifted cook and runs her own catering business and lunch delivery, I am a big fan! Check it out here: http://kickshawcookery.com: best!
yesyes! The entire Moon River collection is marked down 30-50%! I don't have a lot of stock left so if you are in love with a piece, it's good to make a move now.. The Le Mepris shirt is now $81!
Here is another installment of our "Moon River in Crooms Hill" shoot we did in October in London. Shot by the amazing July Star. Sometimes things just come together so perfectly. I'm wearing the Siren Song dress. Claire is wearing the Moonlight blouse and Dream Day skirt.
I have been bad about uploading press lately but here's one. Thank you Eva for sending over this editorial from Friday magazine! It features The "Bright Sky" shirt and the "Any Fun" shorts of the"Ocean Lemonade" ss11 collection ( will be available soon!) Alexandra Kruse styled it; it's so wonderful, thank you! And here are the Love and Forever bangles..
Sorry for not showing this video for so long. For a while I was upset that it lost some of the sharpness with the exporting of film and uploading to youtube etc. I don't know how to fix it. I shot this film on a S-8 camera on my visit to London in October and premiered it at the Zurich Fashion Days. The day of the shoot was just such a magical day. Claire who's a genius found the fairytale location in Crooms Hill, it was a dream to shoot in such a creative and historic place. July Stars shot the photos and I filmed Laetitia of Mademoiselle Robot around the house and in the garden. Here's Laetitia in the Moon River movie wearing the Moon River Family Affairs collection. Set to "The End Of The World" by Girls
Around christmas I finally had the chance to check out the wonderful Cafe Sisu run by siblings Anni Katrin and Johnny who brought their Finnish origins to the place, making it very cozy and welcoming. I love finding new cafes I can work at! If you're in Zurich make sure to go for brunch.
Now that I am back in NY I got to go through some photos from back in September when lovelies Rebecca of TheClothesHorse and Erin of CaliVintage came by the studio for dress up and tea. They are both wearing the Dream Day skirt and Moonlight shirt!
My dear super talented sister Julie has been creating a beautiful silk shawl collection! Check out the details here: http://julieegli.com! Little birdie is also wearing the Play It Again Sam necklace and here the Fly Away necklace Julie also sent me this song by Fairport Convention sung by Sandy Denny. Such a beautiful winter song. I have been listening to it a lot while staring at the bare trees outside the window.
I watched part of "Love in The Afternoon" even though I don't have a lot of patience for it's story line, I do love Audrey's grace; wearing her proper yet elegant outfits. Then I watched Woody Allen's "Alice" and Mia Farrow was brilliant in red and black Chanel, mom jeans and headbands. Proper with a side of melancholia.
