Valentine's Treat with Wholeliscious!

I have a special Valentine Treat for you!

Andrina is my soul sister, we've been through thick and thin together. We grew up next door to each other. To go with someone from being funny babies to kindergartners (we were late to kindergarten every single day  because we were always caught up playing on our walk there) teenagers (we loved listening to HAIR and dancing in the rain amongst other things) and then somehow growing up (in the good kind of way) is truly special to me.

Andrina is wearing her Spellbound dress and Cupid earrings!

Andrina is an amazing nutritionist and yoga teacher and recides in Vancouver! Check out her beautiful and informative Wholeliscious site!
If you are in Vancouver you are lucky because you can see Andrina live, if not you can get Skype consultations and for all of you in Switzerland; you get the chance for a yoga retreat with Andrina in April!

So for today I asked Andrina to send over a Love yoga pose, a love food treat and also sent over some interview questions for her.. Enjoy!

Let's start with the cookies, right?

Love filled -Oatmeal Cookie

1 ½  cups of mashed up bananas (about 3 bananas)
½ cup of oats
½ cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 tablespoon of chia seeds
¼ cup of dried goji berries
¼ cup raw carob chips

Direction:
    •    Preheat oven at 350 F
    •    Line baking sheet with parchment paper
    •    Add bananas into a bowl
    •    Add chia seeds and mix well
    •    Add rest of the ingredients and mix it well
    •    Scoop 1-2 tblsp of dough at a time onto baking sheet and form cookies

Heart chakra yoga pose

Kundalini exercise to open the heart
    •    Sit in easy pose (cross legged)
    •    Reach your arms out in front of you, palms pressed firmly together, elbows straight and arms parallel to the floor
    •    While you inhale through your nose, open your arms wide as if they were wings.
    •    Reach your arms back, feel your shoulder blades almost touching, your heart center opening and expanding as your lungs fill with air.
    •    Keep your shoulders relaxed, arms parallel to the floor and elbows straight the entire time
    •    Powerfully exhale through your nose, bring your arms back to the front, palms pressed together.
    •    Keep your eyes closed and repeat 26 times. Remember to inhale deeply and exhale powerfully through your nose
    •    Silently recite “Sat” on the inhale and “Nam” on the exhale.
    •    “Sat Nam” means “Truth is my true identity”
    •    Move at moderate pace.

My questions to Andrina:

What do you do to treat yourself?
I love to take hot baths, I always add Epsom salt and essential oils. Taking the time to read a good book with a tea is a very big treat.
Yoga and nourishing food is treating and honoring myself

When do you feel most romantic? :)
I don’t think I have a standard thing when I feel romantic. For me unexpected situation can be more romantic than the obvious ones. It’s about how I connect with someone; meaningful conversations are very important to me and very romantic. There for sure is also something romantic about a cozy evening in front of a fireplace, hearing heavy rain and thunderstorms, forest or beach walks on a windy day and warm up over a hot chocolate or tea after.

How do you get glowy?
Laughing!!! And when I am inspired and fueled by the good energy of people around me.
